🚨 Frailty: Hope is NOT a Strategy 🚨

the importance of evidence-supported screening & interventions to
fight physical frailty in older adults. Hope without a strategy is
an empty promise.
Did you know that 80% of older adults are either frail or
pre-frail? This can lead to falls, hospital visits, and loss of
independence. But there’s good news—you CAN make a difference!

Use the Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) to quickly
identify frailty in under 5 minutes. With a score of <10, you
know it’s time to act.
The solution? Progressive Resistance Training (PRT) with
functional, real-life movements. Pair it with efficient techniques
like rEMOM (Reps Every Minute on the Minute) for sessions as short
as 10-15 minutes, 2x/week.
